A couple of weeks ago I had the chance to go on a road trip to Seattle that took 13 hours, 1 suite case, 2 days, and a horrible cold so about 1000 tissues! Even though I was sick I still went on many adventures around this beautiful city!
Kerry Park is a small park located on the south side of Queen Anne Hill. This was the most calming breathtaking view of Seattle where you can capture the best photographs of the city.
Ferry to Bainbridge Island
The view of the city skyline from the ferry was worth the price of your trip and the island itself has a lot to offer. I’m not going to lie I did it for the view out in the water! The ferry ride is about 35 minutes one way and offered throughout the day. You can see the ferry schedule and prices on their website.
The Gum Wall
Yes, that is a wall full of gum! This gum wall is located in an ally down by Pikes Market and is well known by everyone. I went a couple days after the wall had been cleaned for the first time in 20 years and it was full of gum once again! Even though it is kinda of gross its definitely a must see attraction. Where else can you see a wall full of gum?
Pike Place Market
Pike Place Market began with eight farmers in August 1907 and has continued to strive. With around 500 shops within the 9 acres there is much to see and do. You can find fresh fish, local flowers, organic foods, and even the Original Starbucks.
Of course I had to go to the most iconic spot of Seattle, the Space Needle. The perfect time to go up to the Space Needle is right before sunset; that way you have the day view of the city and the night view of the city! I would defiantly recommend buying tickets to go to the observation deck because you have a view unlike any other from above the city. You can buy tickets on their website.
You probably can’t tell in my pictures, but I had a horrible cold the whole time that I was there so it sucked, but I made the best of my trip. I can’t wait to go back and re live my trip in a healthy way! What have you done or want to do in Seattle?
